1102 GRAND is proud to say that KCnext‘s Summer IT Happy Hour was once again an outstanding networking opportunity. The venue, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in the Historic 18th and Vine Jazz District, did not disappoint. A packed house of Kansas City IT professionals met and networked among the historic baseball artifacts.
I was able to reconnect with customers and friends I haven’t seen for awhile. I also met quite a few new contacts ranging from software companies to engineering firms. Most of the attendees were from the KC region, but I spoke with people from Denver and New York who planned their trip around the Kcnext event! I was also fortunate to conduct the drawings for some excellent prize giveaways for lucky attendees.
Many thanks again to KCnext along with our other co-sponsors – levelfive, Stackify, Balance Innovations, Enterprise Center of Johnson County, Polsinelli Shughart and Tradebot.
Make sure you go to KCnext to sign up to be notified of additional upcoming networking and educational opportunities at kcnext.com. The next IT networking event is November 15th at the College Basketball Experience.
I hope to see you there!

1102 GRAND is thrilled to have the opportunity to be the host sponsor for
the upcoming KCnext IT networking event. We firmly believe that when you
bring together the best and the brightest in the IT community to exchange
ideas, meet new contacts and help connect the dots, good things are sure
to follow. We have witnessed the power of networking at this level first
hand and cannot wait until the next KCnext IT Networking Event on April 26, at
LIVESTRONG Sporting Park from 5:00-8:00 p.m. There will be plenty of food
and beverages as well as some excellent giveaways and facility tours.
We look forward to seeing you there!
